Modern astrology and its work with horoscopes can look back on a long tradition. Historically, the origin of astrology is assumed to be with the Sumerians. Babylonians, Romans and Greeks also used the art of reading the stars.

The profession of astrologer was already considered a high-ranking and dignified occupation 2000 years before our era. Hardly any king or tribal chief dared to make decisions for his people without seeking the advice of the stars and thus the gods.

In the meantime, science and progress have degraded astrology to a pseudoscience. The scientifically provable part was subsumed under the new scientific field of astronomy and astrology was relegated to an esoteric spiritual structure that could allegedly only be implemented in conjunction with faith.
